Our school

A school that prepares students for life

Who we are

Colegio Bilingüe Montería School is a private school in the city of Montería, in the department of Córdoba. It was born in God's heart, with the purpose of offering families in the region a safe and innovative learning environment shaped by two languages — Spanish and English — and guided by Christ-centred principles and values that form people of integrity.

We educate our students from preschool through high school with an approach in which they learn by doing: every child and young person leads their own learning. We believe education goes beyond the academic — it shapes character, awareness of their surroundings and a love of knowledge.

The Montería School community

Mission

To provide all of our students with a safe, inclusive, innovative and collaborative learning environment with a bilingual approach, built on a strong curriculum that develops their individual talents so they become productive and responsible citizens of the world.

Vision

By 2030, Montería School will be the educational choice with a bilingual approach for developing student leaders in Córdoba, supporting them in their pursuit of excellence and independence and promoting lifelong learning in a constantly changing world. We will graduate collaborative students who are effective communicators, creative and critical thinkers.

Our philosophy

Alongside academic excellence, we are an institution that educates under Christ-centred principles, encouraging our whole school community to make human and ethical values their own. We want our students to leave a mark on the world around them. That is the meaning behind our motto, «We Are Global Citizens».
