Student life
Life at Montería School
More than classes: a community to grow in
Learning also means living together, caring and taking part. Our student life brings together community, wellbeing, formative projects and living out our values, so that every student grows in a safe, respectful environment full of opportunities.

Living together
We promote healthy relationships based on mutual respect, the peaceful resolution of conflict, and support for formative processes with an approach centred on care and restoration.

Wellbeing and school counselling
Every student is supported as a whole person. We give social-emotional development a central place: we help each child and young person understand and manage their emotions, resolve conflict and build healthy relationships, because a student who feels well learns better.
Values and spiritual formation
From our Christian identity and under Christ-centred principles, we live out respect, service, solidarity and love for others as part of school life. The Character and Bible Studies area, together with social-emotional support, nurtures character growth, emotional awareness and healthy relationships in every student.
Educational and cross-curricular projects
Throughout the year, our students take part in projects that connect learning with life and with the community:
Global Up — real integration and practice of English.
Environmental education (PRAE) — caring for creation and for our surroundings.
Making the most of free time — sports, recreation and community building.
Peace Studies — coexistence, reconciliation and citizenship.
Afro-Colombian Studies — identity, diversity and cultural respect.
Sexuality education and prevention — self-care and responsible decision-making.
Constitution and Democracy — citizenship education.
Student Social Service — commitment to the community (high school).
